By using this website or any Izel Legal service, you agree to these terms. They govern the website, the Book-a-call flow, and any consultation, course, seminar or workshop engaged with Izel Legal.
Nature of services
Izel Legal is a boutique legal education platform focused on making legal learning more practical, accessible and career-oriented. We create structured learning experiences for law students and aspiring legal professionals through internships, mentorship programmes, courses, workshops, research initiatives and skill-based training.
Bar Council compliance
This website complies with the Bar Council of India Rules on advertising and solicitation. No content on this website is a solicitation or an invitation to engagement. Nothing here is legal advice. A legal opinion is given only in a signed, dated opinion note issued after a paid consultation.
Content and Intellectual Property
All articles, posts, course materials, designs, and graphics on Izel Legal are protected by copyright and other applicable intellectual property laws.
Ownership: All content created by Izel Legal is owned by Izel Legal unless otherwise stated.
User-Submitted Content: By submitting content (such as events, opportunities, or articles), you grant Izel Legal a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, publish, and promote it across our platforms.
By submitting any content, you represent that it is your original work or that you have the necessary rights to publish it.
You agree that Izel Legal may edit, format, or moderate your submitted content for clarity or compliance, without affecting your authorship credit. Course and seminar materials (templates, readings, slide decks, recordings) are licensed for your personal, non-commercial use. Redistribution, resale, or use of the materials in training delivered by you to third parties is prohibited.
Third-Party Content: Some opportunities or advertisements are provided by external organizations. Izel Legal is not responsible for the accuracy or completeness of such information.
Fees, Refunds & Transfers
All paid programmes offered by Izel Legal including courses, internships, mentorship programmes, workshops, webinars, training programmes and other learning initiatives are subject to the applicable programme fee communicated at the time of registration.
Non-Refundable & Non-Transferable
Once a participant has successfully registered and paid for a programme, the fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. Fees cannot be transferred to another participant, another programme, or a future batch.
Cancellation by Izel Legal
A refund will be issued only if a programme or event is cancelled by Izel Legal and is not rescheduled or otherwise offered to participants. Where a programme is cancelled, the applicable refund will be communicated to registered participants.
Change of date or schedule
If the date, schedule or timing of a programme is changed by Izel Legal, the revised date or schedule will be communicated to participants. A change in date or schedule does not make the programme eligible for a refund. Registered participants are expected to attend the programme on the revised date.
Participant absence
If a participant is unable to attend a programme, session, workshop, webinar or mentorship session for personal or other reasons, no refund, fee adjustment or transfer will be provided. Participants are therefore advised to review the programme schedule and ensure their availability before registering.
Before registration
Participants are encouraged to carefully review the programme description, eligibility, fee, schedule, duration and other relevant details before making payment. Registration constitutes acceptance of the applicable programme terms and refund policy.
Your obligations to us
You will (a) provide complete, accurate and updated information; (b) attend scheduled sessions or reschedule with reasonable notice; (c) refrain from recording sessions or redistributing course materials without written permission; and (d) settle invoices in line with the agreed schedule.
Governing Law & Forum
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Kolkata, West Bengal. Commercial disputes above ₹3 lakh may be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seat Kolkata, sole arbitrator appointed by mutual consent.
