Terms of service

Last updated 21 April 2026.

By using this website or any Izel Legal service, you agree to these terms. They govern the website, the Book-a-call flow, and any consultation, course, seminar or workshop engaged with Izel Legal (a service mark of Izel Legal Consultancy LLP).

Nature of services

Izel Legal provides legal consultancy and legal education. Where a matter requires representation in litigation or a regulated filing, you are separately engaged with the empanelled advocate we brief, under an engagement letter issued by that advocate. We are not acting as a law firm in those matters; the advocate is.

Bar Council compliance

This website complies with the Bar Council of India Rules on advertising and solicitation. No content on this website is a solicitation or an invitation to engagement. Nothing here is legal advice. A legal opinion is given only in a signed, dated opinion note issued after a paid consultation.

Fees, invoicing, refunds

Each engagement has a written scope with a fixed quote. GST applies and will be itemised on your invoice. For courses, a three-instalment plan is offered at no extra cost; a pro-rata refund is available until the end of week two of a cohort, after which no refund is offered. For private consultations, fees are billed per engagement and are non-refundable once the consultation has been delivered.

Our obligations to you

We will deliver services to the standard described in your engagement letter, by the advocate or faculty named in it. We do not guarantee a specific outcome (rank, admit, judgment, or offer) — these depend substantially on your own work and on factors outside our control.

Your obligations to us

You will (a) provide complete and accurate information about the matter; (b) attend scheduled sessions or reschedule with reasonable notice; (c) refrain from recording sessions or redistributing course materials without written permission; and (d) settle invoices in line with the agreed schedule.

Intellectual property

Course and seminar materials (templates, readings, slide decks, recordings) are licensed for your personal, non-commercial use. Redistribution, resale, or use of the materials in training delivered by you to third parties is prohibited.

Governing law & forum

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at New Delhi. Commercial disputes above ₹3 lakh may be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seat New Delhi, sole arbitrator appointed by mutual consent.
